Foundations in Yoga Immersion

Foundations in Yoga Immersion offer a complete approach to Yoga bringing together form, philosophy and practical inspirations for a resourceful life- style.

Through re-awakening curiosity, you begin to explore your body as an integrated whole. 

As you continue with the practice, experience of postures start to feel related to one another as part of a greater whole (body, mind, spirit).

You start to build sequence memory to keep the mind focussed and to develop confidence for your home-practice.

FOUNDATIONS IN YOGA

Foundation

LEVEL 1

This is the first step in understanding the correct alignment techniques and in developing breathe awareness for Surya Namaskar A & B described in the tradition of Ashtanga Yoga method. 
It includes few standing and finishing postures.

Yoga Class

LEVEL 2

Having built a foundation at Level 1, we continue with the standing postures and learn the bandhas- the energetic locks or seals to maintain stability in the postures.

MYSORE PRACTICE

Mysore practice means that students can come anytime from 6.30am till the room closes at 08.00am. The teacher guides you through individually depending on your needs, injuries and body type. You can calmly roll out your mat and begin your practice. Students remember the order of the posts themselves and much of the guidance is done through physical adjustments, where the teacher corrects and deepens the positions. Some finishing postures and you can sit and meditate. There is no strict rules for practicing all the postures, some mornings you may just want to do SunSalutation A & B , some finishing postures and leave. You are completely free to do what your need is for the day.

WOMEN CIRCLES

So many women keep giving in from an empty well of exhaustion and stress.

It is our responsibility to fill up the well from the treasure house of Light & Joy, from the sacred river that is the mystical heart. In these empowering gatherings we fill up the cup, nourish the wellspring so that it can overflow to spill onto others.
